How large does the dining room need to be?
Allow 60 cm of table width per person, 80 cm around the table for the chair, and 40 cm behind it for passing by. A table measuring 160 × 90 cm therefore requires approximately 3.2 × 2.5 m of free space. The dimensions are listed for every piece.

No. Two eras in one room look more lively than a complete set. What matters more is a shared wood type or color.
Can an old dining table withstand everyday life with children?
Solid wood, yes. Scratches can be sanded down and oiled again.
Can I buy a dining table and chairs together?
Yes, many tables are already displayed with matching chairs in the showroom. Ask about a package price.
What works in a small dining room?
A round or extendable table, armless chairs, and a highboard instead of a sideboard.
